Adoption Process
Potential adopters must complete an adoption application, which will be reviewed by an adoption counselor. Once the application is approved, the adoption process can proceed. This includes signing the adoption contract, paying the adoption fee, and allowing the pet to go home immediately. The adoption fees are as follows: Kittens (under 6 months) - $125; Young Adult Cats (6-12 months) - $75; Adult Cats (12 months to 7 years) - $100; Senior Cats (7 years and older) - Free; Puppies (under 6 months) - $300; Dogs (6-12 months) - $200; Small Breeds (6-12 months) - $225; Senior Dogs (7 years and older) - Half price; Rabbits - $20; Small Mammals - $1 to $35; Small Birds - $10 to $20. All cats, dogs, and rabbits are spayed or neutered and microchipped. Additionally, all cats and dogs receive vaccinations and deworming treatments. Kittens are tested for FeLV, while adult cats are tested for both FeLV and FIV. Dogs are tested for heartworm.
