Second Chance Companions in Battle Ground, WA

We are an all-volunteer organization established in 1993, committed to assisting animals in Southwest Washington and the Portland Metro area. Our organization relies on a limited number of foster homes that care for dogs, cats, and occasionally other small animals, as we do not operate a central facility. In addition to fostering, we serve as a referral service for private pet owners seeking new homes for their animals, conducting screenings and offering educational resources to encourage pet retention whenever possible. We also provide a low-cost spay/neuter program to the public to help reduce pet overpopulation. Additionally, we collaborate with the local Meals on Wheels program to supply pet food to recipients, individuals in assisted living and senior facilities, and area food banks. When funding allows, we offer emergency medical assistance to individuals in need.
