North Country Animal League in Morrisville, VT
North Country Animal League is an animal shelter located at 16 Mountain View Meadow Rd. in Morrisville, Vermont, in Lamoille County, about 20 miles south of Montpelier. The organization finds homes for dogs and cats through its adoption center, and also offers sponsorship for animals still awaiting a family. Beyond adoptions, NCAL runs community spay/neuter clinics, wellness clinics, a pet food pantry, a dog training program, youth and summer camp programs, and a foster program, and it accepts volunteers for everything from dog walking to bottle-feeding kittens. It is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and its adoption center is open Tuesday through Saturday.
