Adopt Me Society in Salt Lake City, UT
Adopt Me Society is an animal shelter in Salt Lake City, Utah, located in Salt Lake County, which is also home to 25 other animal shelters and rescues, and sits about 1 mile northwest of downtown Salt Lake City. The organization focuses on rescuing older and special-needs dogs — including seniors, disabled dogs, and those with manageable medical conditions — who are often the ones left behind and at risk of euthanasia. Rescued dogs are placed into loving foster care and nurtured until the right adopter is found, with adoption events held regularly at local PetSmart locations. Donations support a Major Medical Fund that covers veterinary costs, and 100% of contributions go directly toward the dogs' care.
