Hearts 4 Paws in San Antonio, TX

Hearts 4 Paws is a small, privately funded rescue organization committed to preventing animals from being sent to shelters where they may face imminent euthanasia due to lack of care. We ensure that all rescued animals are spayed or neutered, tested, vaccinated, microchipped, and treated for heartworm if necessary. While in our care, they receive regular vaccinations and heartworm prevention until they are placed in new homes. Our organization focuses on rescuing unwanted, neglected, or abused animals from the municipal shelter because we genuinely care about their well-being. The animals are housed at a local boarding facility, which is where our funding is allocated. The kennel owner believes in reinvesting in the community to help save more animals rather than profiting from them. Despite the challenges posed by the current economy and tighter funding, we remain dedicated to our mission and continue to seek relief to support our efforts.
