The primary objective of AHACS is to reunite lost pets with their original owners and, if pets are not reclaimed after the designated stray search period, to find them safe and loving homes.

Adoption process
To meet or adopt a dog or cat from the AHACS program, potential adopters must complete our online adoption application and participate in an adoption interview prior to meeting the pet. Adopters are also required to sign an adoption contract and pay a minimum adoption fee of $50. All pets adopted from AHACS must be spayed or neutered and receive the necessary vaccinations.
