PAWS Animal Shelter in West Linn, OR
PAWS Animal Shelter is located in West Linn, Oregon, in Clackamas County, about 10 miles north of Portland, and is one of 8 animal shelters and rescues serving the Clackamas County area. Operating from a compact 600-square-foot adoption center for more than 14 years, it has helped over 9,000 animals find permanent homes, caring for cats and bunnies onsite while placing dogs and other animals in offsite foster homes. The shelter specializes in newborn and orphaned baby animals as well as homeless, unwanted, or abandoned pets, and strives to keep every animal in a home-like environment rather than a typical shelter setting. As a not-for-profit relying entirely on donations and grants, it also works with pet owners facing difficulties to help them keep their animals whenever possible.
