The Humane Society of Hancock County has served Findlay, Ohio since 1888, educating the public on the care and responsible treatment of animals while providing for and protecting unwanted, lost, and abused animals in the community. As a 501(c)3 organization, it also operates a spay and neuter clinic, animal control services, and a Trap-Neuter-Return program in partnership with the City of Findlay to humanely manage community cat populations. Located about 40 miles north of Toledo, it is one of three animal shelters or rescues serving Hancock County, Ohio.
