The Johnston County Animal Protection League is an all-volunteer, non-profit animal adoption organization based in Smithfield, North Carolina, in Johnston County, about 25 miles northwest of Raleigh. Founded in 2001, it works to find homes for dogs and cats in need while reducing pet overpopulation through spay/neuter programs.
