Smithfield Rescue Mission is a rescue organization located in Smithfield, North Carolina, about 25 miles northwest of Raleigh. It exists to proclaim the love of Jesus to those who are homeless and in crisis, providing shelter, life necessities, and life-changing programs designed to break the cycle of poverty. Founded in 1977, its Men's Ministry offers both short-term shelter and a long-term program for men, while its Women and Children's Ministry provides a home outside the bustle of town for stability and opportunity.
