Adoption Process
Applicants are required to complete a two-page pre-adoption questionnaire and attend an in-person interview at the shelter. The primary requirement is that the adopter must be at least 21 years old, and they must sign the adoption contract and provide proof of age. The adoption fee covers spaying or neutering, a microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations (including distemper, parvovirus, rabies, and kennel cough), as well as testing for heartworm and FELV/FIV.
