We are a completely volunteer-run cat rescue organization located in Central New Jersey, committed to finding permanent, loving homes for cats and kittens. We also aim to educate our community of pet enthusiasts by providing them with the necessary tools and resources for responsible cat care. The cats available for adoption are placed in foster homes rather than a shelter environment. In these foster homes, they receive age-appropriate veterinary care, proper nutrition, and affection until they are adopted. Foster families take the time to understand the unique personalities of each cat, which helps ensure the best possible match for the needs and preferences of potential adopters.

Adoption process

Our adoption process is designed to ensure that our cats and kittens find the best possible homes. As a small rescue run by volunteers with busy personal lives, the process typically takes about two weeks to complete. To begin, you will need to submit an application. If your application meets our criteria, we will proceed to a phone interview. During this call, one of our representatives will ask you some questions and check your veterinarian and personal references. If you are approved to adopt, we will schedule a meet and greet, which usually takes place at Barkley's Pet Supply in Branchburg on a Saturday.
