The Pat Brody Shelter for Cats is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt, non-profit, no-kill shelter located in Lunenburg, Massachusetts, in Worcester County, roughly 20 miles northeast of Nashua, NH. Sixteen other animal shelters and rescues also operate within Worcester County. Through the efforts of its volunteers, the shelter rescues stray and abandoned cats and kittens and cares for them until they are placed in good homes, offering a wide selection of cats and kittens of all ages and breeds. Adoptions are handled by appointment only, starting with an online adoption application, and the shelter is not open to the public for walk-in visits.
