Adoptions are by appointment only and require a completed written adoption application, with the person who will be responsible for the cat coming in person to select it; the shelter follows up with a phone call two weeks after adoption.

NEADY Cats, Inc., also known as Cats In Need, is a small, no-kill cat shelter located in Princeton, Massachusetts, in Worcester County, about 15 miles south of Worcester. Its mission is to place adoptable cats and kittens into forever homes, promote spaying and neutering, and provide feline health care education to the public. The shelter runs an on-site memorial garden for visitors to remember their pets and encourages adopters to keep in touch after taking a cat home.
