Partnership for Animal Welfare in Greenbelt, MD
Partnership for Animal Welfare (PAW) was established in 1996 as an all-volunteer organization dedicated to rescuing cats and dogs. Our mission is to find loving and stable homes for homeless animals. We primarily conduct weekend adoption events, providing prospective pet owners the opportunity to meet the animals and interact with our volunteers.

Adopting from Partnership for Animal Welfare
Adoption process
The adoption process begins when an interested adopter submits an adoption application. This application is reviewed by the Adoption Review Committee within a few days. Following the review, a veterinary check is conducted for the applicant's current and past pets. A home visit is then arranged to assess the living environment. If the adoption is approved, the adopter will sign a contract, make a donation, and then take the pet home.
