Friends of Feral Felines in Portland, ME
Friends of Feral Felines is a cat rescue based in Portland, Maine, located in Cumberland County, roughly 3 miles north of South Portland, and shares the county with 10 other animal shelters and rescues. The organization is committed to helping feral cats throughout southern Maine, with a mission to humanely reduce feral cat populations through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), releasing cats back to their colony sites once altered. FoFF provides ongoing food, water, and medical monitoring for colonies, finds barn homes for some cats, and fosters and socializes kittens to prepare them for adoption. Its work is supported through public education, fundraising, and donations, all of which are tax-deductible.
