Loving Heart Animal Shelter is a no-kill, 501(c)(3) nonprofit, all-breed shelter located in Lafayette, Indiana, within Tippecanoe County, roughly 45 miles southeast of Carmel, IN. Since 2009, it has provided a safe haven for dogs and cats in need, working to nurture them and restore them to health so they can be adopted into loving, permanent homes. The shelter also runs a foster care program that gives animals a break from the shelter environment and helps them adjust to living in a home. Two other animal shelters or rescues also serve Tippecanoe County alongside Loving Heart.
