About this shelter
Indiana Sheltie Rescue in Noblesville, IN
Indiana Sheltie Rescue is a rescue organization based in Noblesville, Indiana, in Hamilton County, about 9 miles southwest of Carmel, IN, and shares the county with 6 other animal shelters and rescues. Founded in April 1999, this 501(c)(3) nonprofit is run by a small group of volunteers dedicated to helping homeless Shetland Sheepdogs, having rescued over 700 shelties to date. The organization has no physical shelter facility; instead, dogs come in as owner surrenders, shelter dogs, or strays and are placed in private foster homes until adoption. Adoptions are arranged through an application and home-visit process, and the group primarily works within Indiana due to the limited geographic reach of its volunteer network.
