Fuzzy Pawz Rescue in Boise, ID
Fuzzy Pawz Rescue is a nonprofit rescue organization located in Boise, Idaho, in Ada County, where 14 other animal shelters and rescues also operate. The rescue is about 2 miles north of Boise and is run by a small group of dedicated volunteers who foster unwanted dogs and cats in their own homes rather than a shelter facility. Fuzzy Pawz focuses on animals considered "hard to adopt," including those with kennel stress, black coats, or over 8 years old, and covers all veterinary care, food, toys, and bedding while the animals are in foster care. The organization relies on community donations and volunteer foster caregivers to continue its work.
