Humane Colorado - Harmony Equine Center is an equine rescue located in Franktown, Colorado, about 25 miles north of Aurora. It operates as a rehabilitation and adoption facility for abused and neglected horses, ponies, donkeys, and mules that have been removed from their owners by law enforcement authorities, and also serves as a central hub where horses from humane societies and rescue groups can receive training and rehoming. The 168-acre property includes three barns for intake, training, and adoptions, 26 pastures and turnouts, two indoor riding arenas, and an education center, staffed by professionals and volunteers who provide shelter, nutritious feed, care, and training. The center is open daily from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
