The organization provides temporary care and shelter for pets that have been abandoned by their owners, as well as for puppies rescued from puppy mills who require care and socialization until they are ready for adoption into permanent homes. The Bichon Frise Rescue Ranch, Inc. is proactive in educating the public about the specific needs of small dogs, particularly Bichons, with the aim of reducing the number of pets that are adopted by families unable to meet their requirements, thereby preventing them from ending up in rescue situations. While the organization primarily focuses on the Bichon breed, it occasionally accepts other small dogs in need.
