Edwards Foundation for Rescued Animals is a rescue organization located in Parker, Colorado, about 15 miles north of Aurora, and is open daily from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Founded by John and Lynda Edwards, both retired teachers, the foundation is a non-profit dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals, providing food, water, shelter, medications, and plenty of room to roam on their property. It operates as a no-kill sanctuary and works with county and local courts, programs for individuals with disabilities, scouts and educational groups, veterans, and school groups, using its tranquil farm setting to educate the community on proper animal care. Visitors and volunteers can feed the ducks, walk the llamas, brush the horses, and interact with the gentle, good-natured animals living there.
