About this shelter

Hinde's Animal Rescue Team (H.A.R.T) in Media, PA

Hinde's Animal Rescue Team (H.A.R.T) is a rescue organization based in Media, Pennsylvania, about 15 miles southwest of Wilmington, DE. The team works to find animals that have been neglected, abused, or treated unfairly loving, permanent forever homes, operating under an "adopt don't shop" philosophy. H.A.R.T relies on volunteers and fosters, and keeps supporters engaged through a monthly mailing list covering adoptable and foster-needed animals as well as current needs like Amazon wish list items. The organization also provides veterinary care for the animals in its program as part of its mission to give them a home away from home.

Adoption process

Apply through the application tab, then a HART team member contacts you to complete the adoption steps; once approved, you meet the dog, and if it's a match you submit an adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to take the pet home the same day.
