Skymeadow Farm Animal Sanctuary in Greentown, PA

Skymeadow Farm Animal Sanctuary is located in Greentown, Pennsylvania, about 50 miles south of Allentown, PA, and is open daily from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. It was acquired in the Fall of 2019 as a 35-acre farm by Sugar Mutts Rescue, a nonprofit originally founded in 2007 as a dog rescue in Brooklyn, NY before relocating to the Pocono Mountains of Eastern Pennsylvania in 2018. The sanctuary provides permanent, lifelong care for farm animals who are often surrendered by owners no longer able to care for them or who come from neglectful circumstances, and it does not breed its residents or raise them for food. Its mission is funded through a short-term rental cabin/farm stay experience, horse boarding services, and donor support.

Interested adopters browse available dogs, then download and complete an adoption application and email it to Sugar Mutts Rescue; all dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested, and microchipped prior to adoption.
