Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh is a rescue organization located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, about 5 miles west of the city. Its mission centers on caring for animals and inspiring communities, and it operates two low-cost outpatient veterinary medical centers for domestic dogs and cats alongside a Wildlife Rehabilitation Center that cares for ill, injured, and orphaned native Pennsylvania wildlife. HARP is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit that adopts out dogs, cats, and other animals, with adopters helping open kennel space for more rescues in need. Visitors can meet adoptable animals Tuesday through Friday from 12:00–6:00 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM–4:00 PM.
