Humane Animal Rescue Wildlife Rehabilitation Center is a rescue organization located in Verona, Pennsylvania, about 9 miles west of Pittsburgh. The Wildlife Center opened its doors in 1997 and operates a fully licensed wildlife rehabilitation clinic specializing in the care and treatment of injured, orphaned, and ill native Pennsylvania wildlife, with the goal of releasing patients back into the wild as healthy individuals. The clinic admits over 4,200 patients spanning more than 140 different species every year, and has helped over 40,000 animals since opening, treating all native PA wildlife with the exception of White-tailed Deer, venomous snakes, and bears. The clinic is open daily from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, seven days a week.
