Kitty Co. Cat Rescue and Lounge is a no-kill, 501(c)(3) nonprofit cat rescue located in Bridgeville, Pennsylvania, about 8 miles northeast of Pittsburgh. Its mission is to give cats a better life through spay and neuter, quality veterinary care, and forever homes, while also educating the public on the importance of spay and neuter programs. Beyond adoptions, the rescue operates a lounge space where the community can come hang out with adoptable and soon-to-be adoptable cats and kittens. The lounge is open Tuesday and Friday from 4:00–7:00 PM and Saturday from 11:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Adoption process

Applicants must be 21+ and fill out an online adoption application, being fully truthful; if approved, a coordinator responds within 1-3 business days, and cats must be spayed/neutered and fully vetted before leaving, with kittens under 6 months required to be adopted in pairs or with an existing playful cat.
