Adoption process

Before you can schedule a meet-and-greet with one of our adoptable cats or dogs, you must first complete an application and participate in an interview with a member of our adoption team. Applications are available on our website at www.animaladvocates.net. We take the time to understand the personalities and needs of our pets, ensuring that we make the best possible match for both the animals and their future adopters. As of January 2021, our adoption fees are as follows: for young animals (one year or younger), the fee is $100 for a kitten and $225 for a puppy; for adults (one year or older), it is $80 for a cat and $180 for a dog; for seniors (10 years or older for cats and 8 years or older for dogs), the fee is $60 for a cat and $90 for a dog. Additionally, there is a discount for adopting a pair, where the adoption fee for the second cat or dog is half off. We are committed to providing high-quality care for the well-being of rescued cats and dogs until they find their forever homes. All animals receive regular veterinary check-ups, are fully vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and microchipped. They are also routinely treated for fleas and worms, as well as any medical issues that may arise.
