About this shelter

Whisker Hill Animal Rescue in Wolcott, NY

Whisker Hill Animal Rescue is a rescue organization based in Wolcott, New York, about 35 miles east of Syracuse. It is a foster-based, 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to rescuing stray and feral cats, providing them with veterinary care, and placing them in forever homes, while also offering a no-kill sanctuary for felines who are unadoptable. Rather than operating as a walk-in shelter, the organization relies on a network of foster homes and conducts home visits to ensure suitable placements before bringing a cat to its new owner. Whisker Hill also accepts pet surrenders and welcomes volunteers, foster caregivers, and members to support its mission of ending the suffering of abandoned and feral cats in the community.
