Fulton County Regional SPCA is a humane society located in Gloversville, New York, about 40 miles southeast of Albany. It is a 100% volunteer-run, donation-funded organization originally founded as Regional Animal Shelter in 2002, now operating from its facility at 356 S Kingsboro Ave. The shelter's mission is to engage the hearts, hands, and minds of the community to help animals by providing immediate shelter and care for homeless or abused animals, reuniting them with owners or finding new loving homes, and promoting animal and owner education and public awareness. It is open daily from 7:00–9:00 AM and 4:00–6:00 PM for donation drop-off and other operations.

Adoption process

Fill out an online adoption pre-screening form, which is reviewed and subject to veterinary and personal reference checks; if approved you schedule an in-person meet-and-greet (required if you have resident dogs), and dogs go through a contracted trial adoption period before the adoption fee is finalized, while approved cats can go home the same day.
