Formally known as People For Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) of Orleans County, NY, it was established in 1981 and focuses on the adoption of homeless dogs and cats. All animals placed for adoption are spayed or neutered and up to date on vaccinations, with adoption fees set at $385 for dogs, $280 for senior dogs, and $140 for cats.
