About this shelter

Buckeye's Missions and Sanctuary in Brunswick, OH

Buckeye's Missions and Sanctuary is an animal shelter located in Brunswick, Ohio, about 20 miles northeast of Cleveland. It began as Buckeye's Mission, a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to rescuing animals deserving a second chance, pulling primarily from crowded shelters and rehabilitating them before re-homing. The organization operates a 2.75-acre sanctuary property that serves as a permanent home for rescued dogs not yet placed in forever families, alongside a full pet service offering boarding, daycare, grooming, and training open to all breeds, with proceeds funding the rescue and sanctuary. It is open Tuesday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
