Adoption Process

Before meeting any of our animals, prospective adopters must complete and receive approval for an adoption application. Once approved, we will arrange meet and greets with suitable candidates. A two-week trial adoption is available to ensure a good match. Adoption fees vary. If a trial adoption is desired, a non-refundable deposit equal to half of the adoption fee is required. Please note that if a crate is provided to the adopter, there may be an additional fee to cover the replacement cost.

Forget Me Not Animal Rescue is a non-profit organization comprised entirely of volunteers, dedicated to the belief that every animal deserves a loving forever home. Our mission is to protect and enhance the lives of abused, abandoned, and homeless animals. We work diligently to save and rehabilitate animals that have suffered both physical and emotional trauma, ensuring that each one receives the time and care they need. Additionally, we aim to educate the public about the importance of pet sterilization, responsible pet ownership, and the humane treatment of all animals. As a foster-based rescue, we operate without a physical location, relying on a network of foster homes to care for the animals in our program.
