Mosh Pit Rescue in Grand Rapids, MI

Mosh Pit Rescue is a small, donation-funded, volunteer, animal advocacy and welfare 501(c)3 located in Grand Rapids, Michigan, roughly 5 miles southwest of the city, and is open Monday through Friday from 1:00 to 4:00 PM. Founded in 2017 with a focus on fostering and adopting out older male pit bulls, the rescue's mission has since shifted largely to extreme medical cases and dental care pulled from local shelters, and it now helps both dogs and cats. It is a limited-intake, foster-based rescue with no physical kennel facility—adoptable animals live in foster homes as family members while they are vetted and rehabilitated. The organization does not take owner surrenders or strays, does not pull animals from out of state, requires a home check before any adoption, and requires that other pets in an adopting household be spayed or neutered.
