About this shelter

Ferndale Cat Shelter in Ferndale, MI

Ferndale Cat Shelter is a cat rescue located in Ferndale, Michigan, about 8 miles northeast of Warren, MI, and is open Wednesday through Sunday from 12:00 to 5:00 PM. It operates as a non-profit 501(c)3 no-kill organization dedicated to providing medical care, adoption services, foster homes, and trap-neuter-release programs for felines throughout the Metropolitan Detroit area. Its licensed shelter, the Catfé Lounge, serves as the hub for adoption, volunteering, and fostering, and every rescued cat is examined by a vet, vaccinated, and microchipped before being rehomed. The shelter also offers a forever foster care program for older and special-needs cats who need extra time to find their place.
