WeCare Rottweiler Rescue, Inc. is a Florida non-profit, all-volunteer rescue organization based in De Leon Springs, Florida, located in Volusia County, roughly 45 miles south of Orlando; ten other animal shelters and rescues also operate within Volusia County. The rescue is dedicated to helping surrendered, neglected, and abused Rottweilers, screening each dog for temperament and providing veterinary care, heartworm testing, spay/neuter, vaccinations, and flea prevention before placement. Every Rottweiler is housetrained, crate trained, given basic obedience training, and microchipped, with registration transferred to the adopter and 45 days of pet insurance included at adoption. Adopters receive a full book of medical and behavioral history for their dog, and the adoption donation is $200.
