Siberian Husky Rescue of Florida, Inc. in Seminole, FL
Siberian Husky Rescue of Florida, Inc. is a rescue organization based in Seminole, Florida, located in Pinellas County alongside 20 other animal shelters and rescues in the county, about 15 miles east of Tampa. Established in 1999, it bills itself as Florida's premier Siberian Husky rescue organization and has saved over 1,500 dogs to date. The rescue emphasizes that Huskies require a serious long-term commitment to obedience, exercise, and engagement, and it works to match "Husky knowledgeable" adopters with dogs suited to their circumstances rather than placing dogs indiscriminately. It relies heavily on foster homes and volunteers to interview adopters, conduct home inspections, transport dogs, and provide veterinary care, and it also offers microchipping clinics for adopted Siberians.
