About this shelter

Ever After Mustang Rescue in Biddeford, ME

Ever After Mustang Rescue is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) rescue organization located in Biddeford, Maine, about 5 miles northwest of the city center at its Bush Brook Farm training and education center. Founded in 2002 by Mona Jerome with the support of her husband Brad, the rescue takes in previously adopted mustangs that have been unwanted, neglected, or abused, rehabilitating them for placement in new homes or providing lifetime care to those who are unadoptable. The organization places an average of 2-3 horses a year to approved homes and offers educational programs, mentoring, clinics, and workshops for adopters and the public, partnering with the Bureau of Land Management to support the wellbeing of the American Mustang. The rescue is open Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and Saturday from 9:00 to 11:00 AM.
