About this shelter

Dreams Come True Rescue in Plainfield, NH

Dreams Come True Rescue is a 501(c)(3) dog rescue based in Plainfield, New Hampshire, open Monday and Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, located about 35 miles west of Rutland, VT. Founded by Kathy Wiggin, a Desert Storm veteran, and incorporated in 2019, it is a volunteer-based organization that relies solely on donations, with no salaries paid to staff. The rescue transports dogs from southern regions of the U.S. and has them spayed/neutered, vet-checked, vaccinated, microchipped, and treated for fleas/ticks/heartworm at Stone Cliff Animal Hospital in Lebanon, NH before adoption. Its mission is to help unwanted and stray dogs find loving homes in the Upper Valley of NH and surrounding states, and it has saved over 350 dogs since 2019 as an official PetSmart adoption partner.
