Survivor's Paws Animal Rescue is a dog rescue organization based in Lebanon, New Hampshire, roughly 35 miles west of Rutland, VT. It is a 501(c)(3) non-profit and registered NH charity dedicated to saving dogs and finding them loving homes throughout Vermont and New Hampshire, while only placing adoptions within 200 miles of its location. The rescue is open Monday through Friday from 6:00–8:00 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM–5:00 PM, and it relies on fosters and volunteers to support its adoption and spay-and-neuter efforts.

Adoption process

Applicants fill out an adoption application, which is reviewed along with reference and vet checks, followed by a home visit, then approval with a signed contract and paid adoption fee before picking up the dog; adopters must be 21+, within 200 miles of White River Junction, VT (or within CT), and have all household pets spayed/neutered and on heartworm prevention.
