About this shelter
Nephi Animal Shelter in Nephi, UT
Nephi Animal Shelter serves Nephi, Utah, about 35 miles north of Provo, and is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM. The shelter operates under Nephi City's animal control program, which enforces the city's leash law requiring all dogs and cats to be restrained whenever they are off their owner's property, and encourages responsible pet ownership through obedience training, regular veterinary checkups, and annual dog licensing. Animal Control Officer Thomas Talbert oversees the program, which also offers live animal trap rentals to residents for $25, with $20 refunded upon the trap's return within seven days.
