The shelter is dedicated to providing care and comfort to animals in need, with a mission to work with the community to end the needless euthanasia of abandoned pets and find them loving, forever homes. It also supports pet owners through guidance on preventive care such as vaccinations, heartworm and flea treatments, microchipping, grooming, and spay/neuter surgeries. Through its Silver Paws Program, the shelter offers senior citizens the opportunity to adopt senior pets at no cost, along with ongoing wellness care and pet food assistance.
