Nevada Humane Society is a nonprofit humane society located in Carson City, Nevada, about 2 miles west of the city. It is open Monday through Saturday from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. For nearly a century, the organization has worked to unite people and animals, saving dogs, cats, and small mammals in need and finding them loving families, with nose-to-tail support from the moment animals enter its care until they find their fur-ever home. This work relies on a team of volunteers, donors, and community partners, and the organization has saved more than 140,000 animals to date.
