Carson Tahoe SPCA is a humane society based in Carson City, Nevada, located in Carson City County about 2 miles west of Carson City proper. Two other animal shelters or rescues also serve the Carson City area. Carson Tahoe SPCA has been rescuing cats and kittens since 2011, focusing on adoption, fostering, and volunteering to save homeless felines throughout Carson City and the surrounding Northern Nevada area. The organization is also heavily involved in Trap Neuter Return efforts to improve the lives of feral cats in the community, and it relies on foster families and donations of supplies to care for the cats and kittens in its program.
