Homeward Animal Shelter is a local and community-funded, non-profit animal shelter located in Fargo, North Dakota, about 2 miles south of the city. Its mission is "Rescue. Shelter. Protect. Rehome." The shelter finds new homes for dogs, cats, and small animals, and also offers a Barn Buddies program for cats, along with adoption discounts for seniors and military members. It is open to the public Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 4:00–7:00 PM and Saturday from 2:00–6:00 PM, and relies on volunteers, foster families, and community donations to support homeless animals in the area.
