Tri-County Humane Society is an independent, nonprofit humane society located in St. Cloud, Minnesota, about 50 miles southeast of Brooklyn Park, providing quality services to people and animals since 1974. The shelter is open Monday through Friday from 12:00–6:00 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 12:00–5:00 PM. TCHS helps dogs, cats, and small critters find homes, and receives no government funding, relying instead on donors, adopters, volunteers, and fosters to support its work. Its foster program is a key part of its lifesaving efforts, caring for nearly 1,000 animals each year that are pregnant, too young, sick, injured, or in need of extra socialization before adoption.
