Since 1973 it has rescued and rehomed animals in need, giving them a second chance at a loving home, with a mission to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome animals while promoting compassion and responsible pet ownership. Currently its facility can only shelter and rehome cats and kittens, which are available for adoption for $90, a fee that includes spay/neuter and shots. As an independent non-profit, it is funded by donations, bequests, and revenue from its on-site Thrift Store.
