Adoption Process
Submit a completed adoption application (in person or online) for pre-approval, visit the shelter in person to meet the pet (bringing any household dogs or children under 12 for a meet-and-greet), and if approved, sign a final adoption contract and pay applicable fees; adopters must be at least 18 with a valid driver's license.

Its mission is to improve and save animal lives by promoting quality care and compassion through adoption and humane education in the region. The shelter offers low-cost spay and neuter services and core vaccines by appointment, along with a trap-neuter-return program and dog training services, and relies heavily on volunteer support to carry out its work. It is open Tuesday through Friday from 10:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Saturday from 10:30 AM to 5:00 PM, and Sunday from 12:00 to 3:00 PM.
