Moreno Valley Animal Shelter is located at 14041 Elsworth Street in Moreno Valley, California, roughly 60 miles west of Los Angeles, between Cactus and Alessandro. The shelter is open Tuesday through Friday from 9:30 am to 6 pm and Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm, and it offers dog and cat adoptions, pet licensing, microchipping, and low-cost spay/neuter vouchers for qualifying residents. It also runs a Trap-Neuter-Release program for feral cats that has been active since 2015 and has serviced over 3,100 cats, and it partners with rescue groups while encouraging residents to "adopt, don't shop." The shelter is a Grey Muzzle grant recipient and is certified as a Better Cities for Pets participant.
