Delta Humane Society & SPCA of San Joaquin County, also known as the Delta Stockton Humane Society & SPCA, is located in Stockton, California, about 50 miles north of Sacramento. Established in 1966, it is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and the only No-Kill shelter in San Joaquin County, operating from a five-acre facility at the same site since its founding. The shelter cares for dogs and cats, providing each animal with a medical and behavioral checkup, vaccinations, and spay/neuter services before adoption, guided by a mission to promote the humane treatment of animals and the bond between humans and animals. It welcomes visitors Thursday and Friday from 12:30–4:30 PM and Saturday from 12:00–4:00 PM.
